The short answer

Support & Maintenance, explained simply

GoHighLevel support and maintenance is an ongoing monthly service where a GHL specialist looks after your account. It covers fixing broken workflows, building new funnels and automations, checking email and SMS deliverability, managing platform updates and answering your team's questions, so the account stays reliable without hiring a full-time administrator.

Sound familiar?

These are the problems that usually bring people to us. If two or more apply, this service is worth a closer look.

Small issues pile up

A broken form here, a workflow sending the wrong message there. Without someone responsible, small problems stay unfixed and quietly cost leads.

Platform updates change how things work

GoHighLevel releases new features and changes often. Keeping up while running a business is difficult, and some updates require adjustments to existing setups.

Freelancers disappear after the project

One-off builders move on, leaving you without anyone who knows how the account was set up when something needs to change.

Hiring in-house is expensive

A full-time GHL administrator is more than most small businesses and agencies need, but occasional help is not enough either.

What is included

Everything below is part of the work, written into your quote, and handed over with notes so you are never locked in.

Fixes and troubleshooting

Diagnosis and repair of broken workflows, forms, calendars, integrations and message delivery issues.

New builds and changes

New workflows, funnels, forms, email templates and pipeline changes completed within your plan hours.

Deliverability monitoring

Regular checks on email domain health, bounce and complaint rates, and A2P 10DLC status to protect message delivery.

Platform update reviews

We track GoHighLevel releases and recommend new features worth adopting, plus changes that affect your setup.

Monthly account report

A short summary of work completed, issues found and recommended improvements for the next month.

Team questions and training

Answers for your staff and short recorded walkthroughs when someone needs to learn a new task.

Snapshot maintenance for agencies

Updating master snapshots and pushing tested changes to client sub-accounts.

How the work runs

A clear path from first call to handover. You always know what is happening, what we need from you, and what comes next.

  1. 1 Week 1

    Account audit

We review your account, workflows, integrations and deliverability, and agree a priority list of fixes and improvements.

  2. 2 Weeks 1-2

    Fix the urgent items

We resolve issues that affect leads and revenue first, such as failing forms, broken automations or delivery problems.

  3. 3 Monthly

    Ongoing requests

You submit requests through a shared ticket board. We confirm scope, complete the work and log what changed.

  4. 4 End of each month

    Monthly review

We send a report and suggest next priorities, so the account keeps improving rather than only being repaired.

What does GoHighLevel maintenance include each month?

Maintenance covers the routine work that keeps an account reliable. That includes checking workflow execution logs for errors, testing key forms and calendars, monitoring email domain health and A2P 10DLC status, reviewing integrations for expired connections and cleaning up unused tags or old automations. These checks catch quiet failures, such as a form that stopped creating opportunities, before they turn into weeks of lost leads.

Beyond upkeep, most plans include time for improvements: new campaigns, updated funnels, extra automations and adjustments when your services or pricing change. The aim is that your account reflects how the business works today, not how it worked when it was first set up. Each month ends with a short report, so you can see what was fixed, what was built and what we recommend next.

  • Workflow error checks and fixes
  • Form, calendar and integration testing
  • Email and SMS deliverability checks
  • Clean-up of unused assets
  • New builds and campaign updates

Is it better to hire a GHL support agency or a full-time admin?

A full-time administrator makes sense when GoHighLevel is central to a large team and there is enough work to fill a full week. For most small businesses and growing agencies, the workload is steady but not full-time, which makes a monthly plan more cost-effective. A monthly plan also avoids the cost and time of recruiting, training and managing a specialist hire, and you can change the plan size as your needs grow or shrink.

A support agency also brings a wider range of experience across many accounts, which helps with unusual problems and new features. Some businesses combine both, with an in-house virtual assistant handling daily tasks and a specialist plan for builds, integrations and troubleshooting. The right choice depends on how much of your daily work runs through GoHighLevel and how quickly you need problems solved.

Why are my GoHighLevel emails or texts not being delivered?

For emails, common causes include a missing or misconfigured dedicated sending domain, absent SPF, DKIM or DMARC records, sending to old or unverified lists and content that looks like spam. High bounce or complaint rates can also affect delivery for the whole domain. Warming up a new domain gradually, cleaning lists before large sends and watching bounce and complaint reports in GHL all help keep email delivery healthy over time.

For texts, the most frequent cause in the US is incomplete or rejected A2P 10DLC registration. Other causes include contacts marked as do not disturb, invalid numbers, carrier filtering of certain links or wording, and wallet balance issues. Checking delivery reports in GHL usually points to the specific reason. Fixing the root cause matters more than resending, because repeated failed attempts can make filtering worse.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to the questions people ask us most. If yours is not here, ask us directly.

How quickly do you respond to GoHighLevel support requests?

We respond within one business day on all plans, with priority response on Growth Care and same-business-day response for urgent issues on Agency Care. Urgent means something actively costing leads, such as a broken lead form or failed message delivery. Larger requests are scheduled with an agreed completion date.

What happens if I use more hours than my plan includes?

We let you know before you reach your plan limit. Additional work can be billed at an agreed hourly rate, scheduled into next month or handled by moving to a higher plan. We never start extra billable work without your approval.

Do unused support hours roll over?

Unused hours do not roll over by default, because plans are priced around reserved specialist time each month. If you consistently use fewer hours, we will suggest a smaller plan. For seasonal businesses, we can discuss a plan that matches busier and quieter months.

Can you support an account that someone else built?

Yes. Most of our support clients come to us with accounts built by someone else. We start with an audit to understand the setup, document what exists and fix urgent issues first. After that, ongoing support runs the same way as for accounts we built ourselves.

Do you provide white-label support for agencies?

Yes. On Agency Care we work behind the scenes for your clients under your brand. We can use your agency email addresses and ticket system, and your clients do not need to know we are involved. You stay the main point of contact and keep the client relationship.

Is there a minimum contract for support plans?

Support plans are billed monthly with no long-term contract. We ask for 30 days notice to cancel so we can hand over documentation properly. Many clients stay because the account keeps improving, not because they are locked in. You keep full ownership of your account and everything we build.

How do I submit support requests?

Requests are submitted through a shared ticket board or a dedicated email address. Each request is logged with a description, priority and status, so you always know what is being worked on. For urgent problems, you can also reach us through an agreed priority channel.

Will you keep my account up to date with new GoHighLevel features?

Yes. We track GoHighLevel product updates and flag new features that could benefit your account, such as improvements to workflows, AI tools or reporting. We explain what each change means in plain language and only implement new features once you agree they are useful.
